Young Horse Raising

Offered at our California location, Our Young Horse Raising Program is structured to allow for the growing horse to be a horse. Youngsters are grouped in small herds, where they learn important herd dynamics that will stay with them throughout their lifetime. They learn how to use their bodies on our gently rolling hills - building a strong and athletic foundation that is invaluable to them as future athletes. Seasonal grass encourages natural foraging, several acres of forest provides endless enrichment, vast amounts of large trees allow for natural shade, and run in shelters provide relief from weather.

Youngsters are extensively handled, regularly groomed and taught invaluable ground lessons - focusing on reinforcing trust, confidence, and respect - preparing them for their lives as a riding horse.
