Jamaica-STRH is a lovely mare with an impressive pedigree. She was bred by the 2020 KWPN Breeder of the year, Jan Streppel along with Stephan Haarman of Stoeterij Beltmanshoeve in the Netherlands.
Jamaica has a wonderful character and exceptional mind. She is naturally forward thinking with a strong work ethic and desire to please. She has three correct, balanced, and expressive gaits. Her walk has good energy, swing, and overtrack. Her trot is rhythmic, has freedom in the shoulder and ample knee action, and her canter is uphill with good activity and carrying power.
Jamaica was shown through M level and trained through Z level prior to her import from Holland in 2022. Jamaica’s value as a broodmare was easily recognized by KWPN judges and she was accepted into the KWPN Studbook during the Keuring Tour in 2023. In addition, her 2023 filly, To Feel the Rhythm FHF, was awarded First Premium.

Fairytail’s dam, Aïda, is a daughter of Negro, sire of the double Olympic gold winner Valegro. Negro has the preferent status and with this title is now amongst the exclusive and unique “all-time-greats”.
Aïda’s dam, the Oldenburg top mare Ballerina II (Don Gregory s.Donnerhall) is a full-sister of Don Ruto (sire of top horses including Don Jovi, Don Jeroen, Zidhane, Nip Tuck) and is out of the wonderful mare Ballerina I (s.Rubinstein x Matador x Carajan x Hirtensang).

Jamaica comes from a very strong and impressive damline. Her dam, is the elite mare Edelweiss-STR, who’s sire Zhivago, by Krack C, was out of the STER, preferent, and prestatie mare Orendy. Zhivago was winner of the 2009 Pavo Cup for 5 year olds, the 2011 KWPN Stallion Cup Series, his Stallion Performance test, and was reserve Champion at the KWPN Stallion Licensing, second to Blue Hors Zach.
Edelweisses’s dam is the elite, preferent mare Orleans, who is also the dam of Grand Prix sensation Governor - said to be perhaps the most well bred dressage stallion Dutch breeding has ever produced.
