Luminescent is an absolutely lovely mare, with an impressive presence and priceless character. She has 3 quality gaits. Her walk is forward, free-flowing and relaxed, with a long and low frame. She has a big trot, with a smooth consistent cadence that boasts her tremendous ability to carry from behind. Her canter is bold, forward, powerful, and adjustable.

Luminescent has had a successful career as a hunter, being ridden by a professional, an adult amateur, and a junior rider. She is truly the perfect combination of scope, technique, temperament, beauty and athleticism. With both her sire and dam being successful Grand Prix show jumpers, the ability to jump is deeply rooted in her pedigree.

Pedigree

Luminescent’s sire is the imported Holsteiner stallion, Larentino. Larentino had a very successful international show jumping career and in 2007, helped the U.S. Team win the Nations Cup in Hamina, Finland. His sire, Lasino was another Grand Prix superstar with a star studded pedigree including Landgraf and Capital I. His dam, Elvita was by the Grand Prix stallion Caretino by Caletto II.

Luminescent’s dam is the imported Oldenburg mare, Cantrate 26. Cantrate had a very successful Grand Prix career as did her son, Finnegan. She has a full sister who competed in the 1.60m and two half siblings who performed up to the 1.45m. Cantrate 26 comes from a strong line of show jumpers, including Cantus and Caletto I.
